The exhibition takes its cue from ‘La Guarini’ Torch, created for the FISU World University Games Winter Torino 2025, reinterpreting the architectural geometries of the dome in a contemporary key.

Through the use of colours symbolic of the Universiade and digital design, the exhibition explores the dialogue between past and present, demonstrating how art can evolve while maintaining a strong link with tradition.

Itinerari Segreti

Andrea Agostini's personal.

Free entry

The Gallery is pleased to host Andrea Agostini’s solo exhibition, Itinerari Segreti.

In this exhibition, the artist takes us on a unique journey through Turin, immortalised in about sixty sixty delicate watercolours on hand-coloured paper, where the city is revealed in unprecedented views and iconic monuments.

With a fluid and refined technique, Agostini infuses his works with a lightness that seems to suspend time, inviting you to discover a dreamlike, almost whispered Turin.

These watercolours transform every corner and architectural detail into poetic visions, in which reality and dream come together. The delicacy of the handmade paper dialogues perfectly with the watercolour,
amplifying the sensation of fragility and enchantment.

Secret Itineraries is an invitation to get lost in the streets of the city, exploring those hidden paths that reveal themselves only to an attentive gaze, immersed in the light and dreamy atmosphere of Turin.

A tale in images that have always belonged to all those who walk, absorbed, along the streets of our city surrounded by a unique elegance of shapes and styles.

…. Wandering is always my heart in your city – Andrea Agostini

Torino - Réclame

Giuliano Grittini's personal.

Free entry

On the occasion of EXIBI.TO, galleria la rocca presents “Torino – Réclame”.

On show are some seventy works by the famous Milanese photographer, artist and art printer.

Rèclame is an immersive journey into the visual universe of advertising, reinterpreted with the irony and artistic sensitivity that characterise Grittini’s work.

He explores the theme of consumerism and mass communication, revisiting images that have profoundly influenced the collective imagination.

The artist is known to the general public and critics for his continuous research and skill in manipulating and re-imagining pop culture icons from Marilyn Monroe to Alda Merini, with whom he had deep personal and professional ties.

Rèclame, immediately recalls the idea of a past in which advertising was synonymous with innovation, fascination, desire and the advertising posters, created by artists, witnesses of their time, were not just marketing tools but true cultural artefacts, capable of shaping lifestyles, dreams and aspirations.

Torino - Diario di Viaggio

Andrea Agostini's personal.

galleria la rocca presents “Torino – Diario di Viaggio”.

The exhibition showcases about thirty “Photographs” and a series of watercolors on paper by Andrea Agostini.

He creates his works through the lens of the camera, seeking the subject, framing, and setting.

The images, appropriately reworked by the artist to adjust their light and contrast, are then printed on forex.

Subsequently, Agostini intervenes on the photos, graphically and pictorially, using liquid graphite and acrylics.

Thus, glimpses and monuments of Turin become a stage for his imaginary tales.

An incursion of the fantastical world into the real world.

Black and white photography and painting, two passions that coexist and merge to create a wonderful and fascinating mix.

Reality and fantasy blend into a unique and highly personal view of the world.

Once again, Agostini surprises us with his colorful emotions laid upon everyday reality.

Solo exhibition of the roman painter and director Sergio Lombardino.
The artist will be present.

Free entry

NO COMMENT is the personal exhibition that marks the welcome and desired return of the Roman painter-director Sergio Lombardino to the La Rocca Gallery and to Turin.

His paintings stem from a volcanic creativity and a deep knowledge of painting and restoration techniques, filtered through his years of experience as a television director for the LA7 network.

A metropolitan painter, as he likes to define himself, he draws inspiration from everyday life, capturing moments of the present that he transfers onto canvas or cardboard using and blending various techniques such as fresco, collage and decollage, tearing, acrylics, and enamels.

Just like in the video post-production console, he retraces the history of art. He cuts, decomposes, reassembles, tears, and paints his “Drop-outs.” Material works that draw from the past and present, freezing objects of collective memory in a “still image.” He revisits Pop Art through a mix of techniques and references to masters of Informal and New Dada.

Painting is his fixation, as is the “lettering” that characterizes his recent works. Like a modern Pasquino, he sends out ironic and irreverent messages like his NOs.

Contrary to this, Lombardino defines his Bi-paintings, which display the word “ON,” with the clear message to stay switched on, attentive, and critical, in order to say NO or at most NO COMMENT.

XEL

"DREAM"
personale di XEL

Free entry

The desire to tell the story of Xel was born from the exhibition collaboration of the last few years.
On display, a selection of his most representative works, which tell of his artistic evolution and his unique style.
Acrylics on canvas recall his beginnings as a “writer”, when a spray can in his backpack wandered around at night to “tag” the walls of the suburbs with his smuggling art.
Tags that are not random but the result of his great love for “lettering” from which new three-dimensional characters are born.
His Xel signature declined in different shapes and patterns is the first trait recognizable by street-art insiders.
The evolution of lettering does not take place as a pure exercise in style, it comes from a careful and at the same time critical look at society and the reality that surrounds it.

Street art works are therefore characterized by a strong visual impact and an immediate artistic language.
Primary colors dominate the large backgrounds, as is the primary urgency for Xel to address social issues dear to him, wild urbanization, inequalities, the transformation of the world of work, the lack of future for the new generations.
Stylized chicks with open beaks await something that may never arrive, factories whose chimneys no longer smoke, vertical villages where nature struggles to find a place, are the subjects that characterize his works.
Important themes that, in Xel’s works, are able to involve the viewer in a unique visual and emotional experience, permeated with poetry and lightness.

The step from the large mural to the canvas is inevitable, and underlines the desire for a closer and more intimate contact with the public than he does.
Acrylics on paper stand out for their originality and for their ability to create suggestive atmospheres, they tell of a suspended time, that of the pandemic, in which houses and even the Mole Antonelliana, symbol of our city, become containers of dreams, caskets open to the world that show what is most precious.
The desire to keep dreaming and making your dreams come true becomes an imperative.
